If you are in myofunctional therapy, preparing for tongue tie release surgery, or preparing for maxillomandibular advancement surgery (MMA), bodywork can be a valuable part of your comprehensive treatment plan.
I have seen the positive effect the myofunctionally-informed bodywork I offer can have for oral motor function in babies. I also know what a profound effect my own myofunctional symptoms have had on my health and my sleep, and am pleased with how much myofunctional therapy has improved both. I am excited to offer massage and bodywork to adults and older children in support of myofunctional therapy and surgical preparation/recovery. I am particularly interested in helping pregnant clients optimize sleep to promote their own wellbeing and healthy fetal development.
